Cookies Policy
Dr. William Clark Consulting

Last Updated: 30 September, 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Dr. William Clark Consulting ("we", "our", "the Company") uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels, tags) on www.williamclarkconsulting.com, which cookies are actually set, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow a website to function, to remember your choices, and, depending on the type, to measure how the site is used or to support advertising. Similar technologies such as pixels, tags and browser storage are covered by this policy in the same way.

3. Legal basis

Storing information on your device, or accessing information already stored there, requires your consent under § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — unless the storage is strictly necessary to provide the service you requested (§ 25 Abs. 2 TDDDG). Strictly necessary cookies are therefore set without consent; everything else is set only after you have accepted it in our cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (section 6).

4. Cookies and technologies we use

4.1 Strictly necessary (no consent required)

4.3 Advertising / marketing (only after your consent)

We also use Google Tag Manager, which is a tag-management tool: it does not set cookies of its own but loads the tags listed above according to your consent choice.

5. Third-Party Cookies and transfers out the EU

The analytics and advertising technologies above are operated by Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC, Klaviyo Inc. and LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company / LinkedIn Corporation. Where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on Art. 45 GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified) and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses under Art. 46 GDPR. Please note that US authorities may, under certain conditions, obtain access to such data. Details are set out in our Privacy Policy.

6. Your Consent and how to withdraw it

Variant (A) — use this once the "Manage cookies" link exists:

When you first visit our website, we ask for your consent. You can accept all cookies, decline all non-essential cookies, or choose individual categories under "Settings". You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, with effect for the future, by clicking "Manage cookies" in the footer of any page. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent and has no disadvantage for you other than the loss of the functions concerned.

Variant (B) — use this only while no such link exists:

When you first visit our website, we ask for your consent. You can accept all cookies, decline all non-essential cookies, or choose individual categories under "Settings". You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with effect for the future by deleting the cookies for this website in your browser settings (in particular the "consent-policy" cookie); our banner will then ask you again on your next visit. You may also email info@williamclarkconsulting.com and we will record your objection.

If you decline, no analytics or advertising cookies are set and your visit is not measured. The website remains fully usable.

7. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

Most browsers let you refuse cookies, delete them, or alert you when cookies are being set. The exact steps differ per browser and version — see the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of our website.

8. Do Not Sell My Personal Information

The link of this name in our footer is a control for residents of certain US states (California and others). It is not the mechanism for consent under EU law — for that, please use section 6 above.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when the technologies on our site change. The current version is always published on this page with its "Last updated" date.
